Self-emptying bases make a robot vacuum worth it especially for those who live in large homes. It means that you don't need to empty the bin several times during a run that keeps it running more frequently and keeps your floors clean.

The Q Revo is an affordable robot that does an excellent job vacuuming and mopping. The mopping efficiency, especially given its price, is impressive. It is able to mop well on carpets and hard floors and picks up fine to large particles (think hair tangles Kitty litter, cereals of various sizes). It also does a great job of cleaning up dry spills and messes. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck places thoroughly.

The mopping system makes use of rotating pads to scrub your floors and remove dirt and grime even from areas that are stuck. The pad also completely dries by circulating 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning, preventing the growth of mold and unpleasant odors. You can easily control the robot with the Roborock application or use your voice to start your mopping, change settings, and much more.

Its vacuuming performance is top-quality, too. It comes with an impressive vacuum and a high-efficiency filter that is able to capture all types of debris from fine to large. It's only downside is it doesn’t work as well on carpet with pet hair. Ten percent of pet hair remained on our test surface after two vacuuming cycles at maximum power, which isn't uncommon in the vacuuming world.

The Q Revo has plenty of things to offer including its superior mopping and cleaning capabilities to its superb navigation and obstacle avoidance. It's not as great as a top-quality mop and robot vacuum however it's an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% more than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot of convenience for a small amount of money. 3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is very affordable and offers numerous great features. Setup is a breeze and takes only five minutes. After removing the protective plastic and manufacturing tape you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is simple and walks you through the process with ease. Once the Cube is configured the Cube is ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you to customize your home's layout and design maps that the robot can follow. The app also lets you divide rooms into smaller sections to better meet your requirements. You can draw an outline of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot vacuum and mop self empty will sweep the floors at different times in each room.

In comparison to other robots I've tested The Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than other models and features a dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side and the vacuum on the other. The mop pad, which is reusable, is also separate, slotting into the top of the robot and being attached to an handle on the front to make it easy to remove and refilling.

The vacuum performs as well as any other robot I've tested and comes with two side brushes to the single brush in the majority of models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum, making it less likely to lose debris from furniture and walls. However, it has some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to move at full speed through objects, like the tassel rug I have in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an efficient robot mop that can do its job well and keeps your floors looking beautiful regularly. It isn't able to do the vacuuming work of other hybrids listed here and isn't able to transition to rugs or carpet like they can, but it comes with an extended battery life as well as smart mopping features. It is a good choice for maintaining your hard floors in a small or mid-sized house.

It can be used in dry sweeping mode as well cleaning up to 1000 square feet with one charge. It is also able to map your floor plan with the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series with compatible Roomba vacuums.
