Newest iRobot Roomba Robots

iRobot's latest robots can map your home and utilize their cameras to identify small obstacles such as shoes, cords, and pet debris. The Combo J9+ automatically refills its water tank every time it is on a mopping journey, a significant upgrade over previous models which required the manual emptying and refilling of the tanks.

The Roomba S9+

If you're looking to buy a premium robot vacuum that does double job as a mop, the s9+ is the one. Its features are integrated into a stylish new design. It cleans in corners and along edges. It maps your home and self-empties.

The s9+ has powerful motors that offer 40X more suction3 than previous irobots. It also has the ability to recognize carpeted areas which triggers it to use Power Boost for deeper cleaning. Its automatic dirt recognition is very accurate and can distinguish a small toy or dust particle from one another and prevent the toy from becoming stuck.

After the s9+ is filled with debris it returns to its dock and emptys its contents by sucking them into its large bin. This process that sounds like an engine from a jet is taking off, only takes minutes and can be scheduled through the Irobot app.

A new navigational feature called Imprint Smart Mapping, is what really makes this robot different from its rivals. This new technology makes use of sensors that digitally scan the area up to 25 times per second which allows it to map your home more accurately and avoid hitting obstacles. The s9+ features PerfectEdge Technology that allows the device to come close to edges that are complex like the Ikea-renovated cabinets that I have in my home.

Connecting to WiFi and setting up the s9+ is straightforward although it may require a few attempts before the app locates your home. Once it does, the home page and dashboard are easy to navigate. You can choose from a variety of functions, including a detailed schedule and mopping preferences.

The s9+ offers the option of cleaning in two or one sweep. It also has the option of selecting "room-size cleaning" which balances room size and time to finish the job quicker. You can also adjust the suction power, ranging from Eco to Turbo. It can also be programmed to vacuum first and then mop or to stop mopping process before beginning the vacuuming sequence. Contrary to other robot vacuums the s9+'s bin is removable to make it easy to empty and wash.

The Roomba 675

The Roomba 675 is one of iRobot's newest robots. It's a low-cost model that cleans your floors and features wifi connectivity. This feature sets it apart from other models on this list, making it a good choice for people who want a reliable cleaning robot but don't want to spend a lot of money.

The 675 comes with an elegant design and is simple to use. It is connected to your wifi and can be controlled with the irobot vacuum cleaner and mop home app or using a voice assistant. It has a unique three-stage cleaning system that loosens, lifts and sucks dirt from hard floors and carpets. You can schedule it to clean your house on every week.

In our lab tests, the 675 scored an overall pickup score of 89.7 This was higher than the soft RoboVac G30 and slightly below the iLife V3s Pro (94) and Shark Ion R85 (96). It was capable of picking up the majority of the stuff we threw at test areas, but struggled with larger debris such as sand from low-pile carpet.

It comes with dual multi-surface brushes that pick up dust and debris from carpets and hard floors. A side brush is used to sweep edges and corners. It can automatically adjust to different surfaces and features cliff sensors to prevent it from falling down the stairs. It also detects dirtier areas and clean them more thoroughly.

It is low-profile and can be placed under nearly any furniture item. It is also able to navigate through rooms' edges and into corners where a large vacuum would struggle. The 675 also comes with a rechargeable battery, and is compatible with the iRobot Home app, which lets you schedule and start cleaning sessions. It also can learn your habits of cleaning and provide suggestions for scheduling according to your preferences. It's compatible with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing you to start cleaning using just your voice. The 675 is available for preorder at a retail estimate of $450. It will be delivered in the spring of 2020.

The Roomba J9+

The J9+ robot vacuum with mop from Irobot Self emptying Vacuum is the most powerful robot combo. It is designed to clean large homes as well as those with pets thoroughly. The Braava Jet m6 is iRobot's most advanced mopping robot able clean multiple rooms and larger spaces as a human. It uses Precision Jet Spray to take on sticky messes, grime* and kitchen grease with a minimum of effort from you. Smart Navigation helps it navigate your space with safety and stay clear of danger. It also comes with a cliff detection feature which stops it from falling down steep slopes or stairwells.

The M6 is also capable of recognizing your home's layout when it mops, because of Imprint Smart Mapping technology. After cleaning a room or a few rooms several times, it'll create an image that you can view within the app and customize by adding labels. Once you have identified the rooms, you can tell the robot to clean the rooms you've identified or the entire floor of your home on the days that you want.

You can control the m6 by using the iRobot App for Android and iOS or voice commands from your compatible Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device.
