What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The upgrader for items adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to view and purchase upgrades.

Certain of these boosts may only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) While others are beneficial to collectors.

Some items have an inherent boo, which is not beneficial when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which gives more slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to the perfect or nearly perfect Best Item Upgrader.

Costs

The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important stats.
